The story of how Grant Thornton Canada is building a coaching culture, and coaching community, in an environment where expertise and knowing the right answer is highly valued. The journey began in 2013 when the spark was lit with the senior leadership team, and continues today with over 125 Partner coaches across the firm. Hear about how the mindset and culture of the firm is shifting and how a coaching community is being built that spans six time zones, and over 60 locations. An honest account of what has worked, what hasn’t, and some challenges that lie ahead.
Speaker’s Bio:
Jenny Kidby has a passion for making a difference to organizations, so that, they can become a place where people can be their best selves. She knows that when work plays a positive role in peoples’ lives, this sense of well-being ripples out into their teams, their families, their communities and beyond. Jen has worked for over 20 years, applying psychology to the workplace. She has worked in a wide range of industries as an external consultant, an internal practitioner and a leader. She is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, an accredited coach and coach supervisor. Jen lived and worked in the UK up to 2016 when she, her husband and daughter moved to Canada for the biggest adventure of their lives. She currently works as Director of Talent and Leadership Development for Grant Thornton Canada.
